Two passengers were killed after a UPSRTC bus rammed into a truck on the Agra Delhi Expressway on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Babloo Kumar (40) of Firozabad district and Varun Kumar Pandey (35) of Sultanpur district.
The SHO of Sikandra police station, Anand Kumar Shahi, said, “The incident took place when the truck was taking a turn from a small cut in the middle of the highway near Arsena village in Agra. A bus with eight passengers collided with a truck and two of them died on the spot. The driver, conductor and two other passengers in the bus were injured. The truck driver fled the scene. CCTV cameras in the area are being examined."
